Chance (formerly known as SAFE horse Waldo) is in need of a new home as his current owner had a skiing accident and can no longer ride. SAFE will be assisting in his placement.
Chance is an 11yo 16.1hh Bay TBx gelding. He flunked out of bucking horse school, and was rescued from slaughter by SAFE. When you get to know him, he WILL steal your heart! Currently ridden English; previously had some dressage training and an introduction to jumping. Also has trail experience! Prior injury affects movement, but not soundness. He likes to work! Ideal job would be pleasure/trail riding and light jumping. He is healthy, sound, UTD on all vaccinations and feet. A skiing accident has left his owner unable to ride. He deserves better than standing around bored in a paddock. He needs a partner and a job in a forever home. Confident rider a must, he is not a beginner’s horse. He responds well to Natural Horsemanship training methods (knows his Seven Games!) Currently located in Clearview.
