SAFE has 5 Rideable Horses Available for Adoption!

Spring has sprung, and it's time to start thinking about getting out on the trails again! SAFE has five wonderful horses available for adoption who are all rideable. Each one has special needs and limitations, but all are great candidates to become your next saddle horse. They've worked hard over the winter to brush up on their skills and their fitness, and they are ready to find their forever homes.

Whiskey

12 year old dun mare
Background: failed bucking stock
Training: Green broke with 7 months professional training paid for by SAFE, has cow penning experience
Suitablility: cow penning, trails, pleasure
Rider level: Intermediate to Advanced rider
Lameness issues: none
Adoption fee: $1000

Deeds (He Is Indeed)

12 year old Thoroughbred gelding
Background: Off the track, raced until 9
Training: Unknown, track-broke
Suitablility: Trails, Low Level Dressage
Rider level: Intermediate
Lameness issues:
old suspensory injury, also some arthritis, not suitable for jumping
Adoption fee: $500

Suitablility: with increased fitness, suitable for many disciplines
Rider level: Intermediate
