Donate to SAFE

SAFE is 100% supported by donations and 100% of the money we raise goes towards helping horses and running the rescue. The SAFE fund is primarily used to pay for the care and upkeep of our horses in foster homes. We cover the costs of vaccinations, tooth floating, routine and emergency vet care, farrier care, and training. Money donated to the SAFE fund is also used to purchase horses that are at risk, and to help horses and horse owners in need. SAFE is run completely by volunteers who receive no monetary compensation for their time or their talents.

SAFE is grateful for any sort of donations, whether monetary or material. Here's how you can help:

Donations of Supplies or Feed

SAFE is always in need of supplies and feed to help care for its horses:

Hay (Timothy or Orchard Grass)
Equine Senior Feed (any brand)
Rice Bran, Beet Pulp, & Corn Oil
Supplements, especially Cool Calories, Vitamins/Minerals, and Probiotics
Paste and Feed-Through Wormers
Waterproof Blankets of all sizes
Fly Masks & Fly Spray
Horse Boots
Horse Treats

SAFE is an Exempt Organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and a registered non-profit corporation in the state of Washington. Donations made to SAFE since our incorporation on October 30, 2006 are tax-deductible. All donations to SAFE are carefully recorded and tracked, and SAFE will supply each donor with a receipt for their contribution which should be retained for tax purposes.
