Brandii Bask

description: 1987 bay Arabian mare with star
type of rescue: owner surrender
intake date: 8/18/2011
adoption date: 4/12/2013
length of time with SAFE: 1 year, 8 months

ADOPTED by Kitti Lile of Woodinville WA

Brandii Bask was surrendered to SAFE by her owner on August 18, 2011, along with Ego Afire. She and Fire were living up on Mt. Index. Their owner had no money to feed the horses and was grazing them up on the mountain for 6 hours a day to try and keep weight on them. Brandii came to us in poor shape, in need of feed, vet and farrier care. She blossomed into a lovely mare. As a SAFE horse, Brandii was ridden and ponied on the trails, and she competed successfully at the 2012 SAFE Benefit Show, winning ribbons in Western Walk/Jog in both the Senior Horse and Rescue Horse divisions. Brandii was adopted by Kitti Lile and lives the life of a pampered and adored companion to Kitti’s mini horses, Dazzle and Bugs, and the rest of the Lile family.
