We reached our goal of $70,000 for the horses—six days early! That’s an amazing result, and we couldn’t have done it without you. A huge thank you to everyone who donated or helped to spread the word.
A sudden chill in the air. The days grow shorter. Summer is over in the Pacific Northwest.
We are well on our way towards the cooler days and long nights of Winter. We mark this occasion at SAFE every year with our annual Fall Into Winter Feed Drive. It’s the one time of year that we ask our supporters to help fill our barn with hay and grain for the coming year. Our goal is to raise $70,000 by the end of November, and we need your help! Your tax deductible gift to the Fall Into Winter Feed Drive is a gift that goes straight to the horses’ mouths!
This is the only time of year that you’ll hear us asking for donations to feed our herd. That’s because we plan and budget for the coming year, and we have a very clear idea what we will need to feed the horses in our care. It’s called Responsible Rescue, and it’s something that SAFE always strives toward.
