Emma came to SAFE as part of a large Animal Control seizure. She was rescued as a yearling, and although she was thin and malnourished, she was in better condition than most of the horses in her group. After her recovery, Emma was adopted and was able to grow up on a beautiful farm along with another mare from her herd named Duchess. Emma was started under saddle by her adopter, and given a great foundation in life. Emma was rehomed in 2018 to a family who enjoys trail riding with her. They describe her as a total athlete and a beautiful trail horse. She spends her spare time with two rescued Tennessee Walking Horses, and is happy and healthy!
