Eda was the first of the Valentine herd to wear a saddle, after making her way through our groundwork checklist swiftly and without a lot of trouble. Her first time being cinched up was, as you can see, pretty mellow.

But mellow is more or less par for the course with this beautiful girl. Aside from being a quick study in a working capacity, Eda is also a real sweetheart in a herd, quickly cementing herself as an ‘everyone’s friend’ type. It has been fun to watch Eda’s progress, and we suspect it will not be long until she takes the next step and becomes a riding horse.
