Lexee N has been working Ranger, preparing him for saddling and his first rides. Here’s what she has to say:
“Ranger is an older guy with still a lot of life to give. When I first started to work him, he was stuck straight and walking himself lame with his imbalance. Luckily, through ground work, we are starting to add more to his life through balance and he’s starting to walk straight and more confidently.
This last Joel clinic we were able to get our first rides on him. And so far so good. He’s not going to be a horse that can be ridden for a long and hard, but he will be a great horse to walk around a property or flat trail. He is such a sweet guy with loads of personality and as we continue his education he’s going to get safer and stronger carrying a rider.
I hope to get him on a trail in the near future! He’s going to be a great, easy going guy for someone.”
