The SAFE Alumni program is managed by two stellar individuals:
Jenner Benton
Jenner Benton grew up riding as a working student, taking every opportunity she could to be in the saddle. In her adult years, she owned and leased several horses and was fortunate to participate in horse shows and clinics with several wonderful trainers throughout the Pacific Northwest. After enjoying a successful career in technology, Jenner is excited to focus her energy on supporting the SAFE mission. She is a member of the Friday morning barn chores team and serves as Alumni Coordinator, helping ensure SAFE horses are thriving in their forever homes. Outside the barn, Jenner loves traveling with her partner, Stu, and their little pup, Consuela, as well as spending time with her adult son, Spencer.
Connie Brenden
Connie Brenden is a technical writer and proud owner of a Chihuahua. She started volunteering on a chore shift at SAFE back in 2014 when we were located in Woodinville. She has also served SAFE by calling references provided by perspective adopters for several years. Now, she looks forward to serving on the SAFE Alumni team.
