Elaine is a seasoned executive with a successful track record and passion for the power of advocacy and political action. A lawyer by training, she spent much of her career in public service at the state and local level driven by a passion for social justice. Elaine developed a nonprofit into a multi-state, powerful and influential player in reproductive and sexual health care advocacy and politics. She is one of the founders of Win With Women, a PAC devoted to electing more women to public office in Washington State.

Elaines love affair with horses began late in life. The depth and richness of the human equine connection motivated her to not only learn to ride but to explore working with horses at liberty. This fascination with horses led Elaine to volunteer with Safe on a morning chore shift team in 2022. The community she found at SAFE inspired her to join the board where she hopes to help expand and enhance the mission of SAFE. She lives in Seattle with her husband, their two cats and dreams one day of owning her own horse.
