Alumni volunteer Manuela L recently paid a visit to Arrow and his adopter, Penni. This is what she had to share with us.
Arrow’s visit was a pleasure. The property is beautiful all around and very peaceful for people and, more importantly, for Arrow and his pony friend. The most enjoyable part of the visit was at beginning, when we walked into the paddock. Penni called for Arrow who was way over on the other side of the property. As soon as he heard his mom, he nickered happily and came galloping to greet her. He is well adjusted and received at least 40 kisses from his mom which he enjoyed. He allowed me to pet him and scratch his ears. Arrow is certainly living a good horse life with Penni.
