In April 2026, Save a Forgotten Equine Horse Rescue moved to a new home in Snohomish near Maltby, just minutes from Woodinville. While we’ve still got some unpacking to do, we can’t wait to meet you!
To say hello, we’re hosting farm tours on the second Saturday of every month from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Register below to reserve one parking space for an upcoming farm tour. While we welcome groups of all sizes, our parking lot only holds 15 cars. Your registration guarantees your group one parking space only. We encourage larger groups to save space for others by carpooling.
For over twenty years, Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE) has been rescuing horses and supporting horse owners in need all across Washington state. Our mission: To rescue, rehabilitate, and re-educate horses facing neglect or abuse and provide them with the best opportunity for a permanent home and a lifetime of safety. SAFE offers a vibrant volunteer community filled with time around the horses, camaraderie, events, and many opportunities to learn.
On this tour, you’ll…
- Meet the horses of SAFE
- Learn about the history of SAFE and our mission
- Learn about our near and long-term plans to create a farm perfectly suited for the specialized needs of rescue horses
- Discover ways you can support SAFE as a donor or a volunteer
What to bring
- Weather-appropriate layers
- Close-toed shoes suitable for walking on uneven surfaces (if you spend time at other barns, please wear clean clothes and different shoes when you come to SAFE)
- Please, no pets (service animals welcome)
- Children of all ages are welcome with adult supervision
