Here’s what is happening with these three SAFE alumni friends.
Rene is looking good and she is still the boss mare.
Angel looks„„like Angel, really getting up in years. She has become the hostess for any new equines on the property and hangs out near them while they find their place in the herd. She still can be difficult to catch but is friends with Daphne so gets hooves trimmed.
Sebastian/Sparky remains standoff-ish and has strong opinions about what handling he will tolerate. He can be nervous at times and they sometimes have to sedate him to do hooves and other vet care.
All the animals have good care and Carla is attentive to where they are emotionally at any time.
