Billy enjoys his retirement days lounging in the sun with his buddy ‘Vinnie’, a mare warmblood trail horse. Anne used to walk him down the trail but due to his limited vision in his left eye, he mostly enjoys his days at home where he knows his surroundings and is comfortable.
Billy enjoys the occasional grooming but only on his terms. As he gets older, Anne has been keeping a close watch on his left eye and they have vet checks every 3–4 months. Anne works with him on getting comfortable with being handled on both sides at the same time and getting used to his eye medication that is puffed into his eye.
Anne loves Billy a lot and is happy to have him and enjoy the time with him.
