Cameo is 18 years old and is doing well, enjoying leisure days in her paddock and little pasture and is getting along well with her stable mate, Lacey (SAFE alumni).
Janelle has not been riding Cameo lately due to Cameo suddenly being indifferent to being saddled. Janelle feels like it may be pain driven in some way and has been working with a veterinarian to figure out what is going on.
Janelle works with Cameo doing groundwork and is working towards hand walking Cameo on the trails near her home. Cameo can be very shy of objects and things she doesn’t see often, so hand walking on the trail can be challenging but Janelle helps Cameo through her fear of objects and sights she doesn’t understand.
