George is generally enjoying a quiet life as a pasture pet and occasional trail horse. He has a miniature horse and a miniature donkey for friends, and he is sweet to them. He occasionally has a cow as a roommate, and he is nice to cows also. Ana has a 1‑mile loop trail that she takes him on and she reports that George is unflappable around dogs and cars. He sometimes thinks the neighbor cows are out to get him and he has more confidence to move past scary things with Ana riding him, than handling him from the ground. He does not love the trailer, but Ana is able to handle him loading/unloading. He is healthy and sound. He has a mechanical challenge with his left hind patella, which subluxates on occasion and he has to shift or move in an odd way to accommodate it. She is considering surgical options, but it doesn’t cause lameness, so she is waiting.
