Pearl is what the barn owner calls an “air fern,” meaning she gets fat just looking at grass. Pearl is thus required to wear a grazing muzzle for turnout, but she is a good sport about it. She has had a few episodes of not quite laminitis and therefore has a tiny bit of white line. Diana is working with her farrier to manage/cure it.
Otherwise, Pearl is snuggly and sweet. She LOVES her friends and getting to go out into the huge pasture turnouts.
