Rae is doing great overall. Christina is managing her allergies and sweet itch diligently. Rae has recently been diagnosed with some arthritic changes in her hocks, so Christina is working with her vet, farrier, and body worker on that and takes each day/ride as they come. Together she and Rae have been doing regular beach and trail rides, and Christina takes her to horsemanship clinics, trail and “cow” camps, and to visit and ride with friends. Christina said one of her proudest moments was when someone new rode Rae and she was patient, didn’t get frustrated or flustered, and consistently tried to quietly sort out what was being asked of her.
