Sweet news: Brownie has found a home!
Tom came to SAFE looking for a horse he could grow and learn alongside, and met Brownie, who fit his bill to a T. The two hit it off, with Tom visiting the handsome pinto several times so they could really get a feel for one another. As a retiree, Tom has the time and the desire to help continue to bring Brownie along in his journey, and we are so excited for this pair.
Brownie’s new home is a beautiful ranch with plenty of space to ride and well-maintained fencing for horses. Part of what Tom wants to do with Brownie is checking fences for the cows he also has, meaning Brownie is on the payroll!
We would like to share this eloquently penned letter from our dear Brownie:
“Dear SAFE, this is Brownie. How are you, I am fine. I’m getting used to the farm, it’s fun here. We get breakfast, get brushed out, and do groundwork. After that we have farm chores. Today Millie and I have to do lawn work to keep the compound looking nice. After our chores, Millie and I went out into the field to sightsee and play while the other horses were in the back field.
