Marion Kerviche has loved horses for as long as she can remember, though her time around them has ebbed and flowed over the years. After moving to Washington, she began volunteering at SAFE in late 2025 to reconnect with that part of her life. Volunteering quickly became a favorite part of her weekly routine and a place where she felt at home. She found community and purpose, taking on more responsibilities and learning about the care and individual needs of the horses. From the daily rhythm of barn chores to the quieter moments getting to know each horse, she has found the work deeply rewarding. She started as Barn Staff in late 2026 and is excited to keep developing her horsemanship and help support the horses as they work toward new beginnings.
