This afternoon, under partly sunny skies, 34 people participated in the first “SAFE Day at the Safe” and watched King Felix and the Seattle Mariners take on and beat the Cleveland Indians 3–0. Watching Hernandez throw a one-hit shutout was as much a treat as seeing SAFE recognized on the big screen between the 4th and 5th innings.

A portion of each ticket sold went directly to SAFE Horse Rescue and, with matching donations from a supporter as well as Microsoft Matching Gifts, we raised over $700 for the horses of SAFE. It was a great day at the ballpark and we look forward to making this an annual event.

Special thanks to SAFE Events Coordinator Tiffany for putting together this day at the ballpark! Great work, Tiffany!!
