Update from Holly’s adopter:

I just wanted to give a little update on Holly. Cathy was out on sunday to visit and see Holly. Cathy was amazed how much she has grown…and still growing…Her training is going well and yesterday we had three horses working in the round pen at the same time and Holly stayed focused on her job. I am so pleased with her. I will try and get some pictures soon. Mindy is here and she rode Holly for the first time. They also did some showmanship and Holly remembers it all. What a smart girl!

And July 18th, 2009:

Holly had a busy week with her first trail ride and more arena work. Mindy is having fun working Holly.  She has grown! Is still growing! Look how much taller her butt is over her withers! The last time I put the stick on her, she was 15hh. That was a couple of months ago. When she came to me she was 13.1 hh. Holly is an amazing horse! I gave her yesterday off and when we caught up Too Shy and Sam, Holly stood at the gate and hollered. Hey! You forgot me! She loves the attention of being trained and trail rides are a bonus for her. I am so lucky to have such a nice filly.
