Yesterday’s open house at SAFE was a terrific success. We had a great turnout of people who came by to say hello and meet the horses, and it was a lot of fun for us to meet some of our wonderful supports in person, some for the first time. The weather was beautiful and the farm looked spectacular (THANK YOU, SAFE VOLUNTEERS!). It was a lot of fun and we are already planning another open house for some time in September.
Special thanks to Sara for riding Zanadu and Dexter in the arena for everyone to enjoy, and to Allison for riding Annie. Debi, Beth, and Jet did a great job giving tours and talking to people about SAFE, as well as setting up the tack sale for us. We raised a total of $474 in tack sales and donations at the Open House, so for everyone who came by and participated, THANK YOU!

Thank you for having the Open House! My friends and family were so happy to meet the horses I’ve been telling them about. My grandson was so excited to see a horse just his size and my friends little girl loved grooming the minis.
