What’s black, white, and brown — err, we mean grey — all over? A four month old Venturo! Vinnie is proof that butterflies aren’t the only creatures capable of metamorphosis. It’s hard to believe that this little bay guy is now a not-so-little grey guy. From afar, it looks like he could have just taken a nice roll in the dirt, but up close you see that it’s the last vestiges of his teddy bear color still clinging to his sides, the only evidence (aside from photographic) that he was ever brown to begin with.
Vinnie is still living his best life out at foster, growing up with lots of room to stretch his legs which are getting longer by the day. Soon enough he will be even more of a spitting image of his dam, but for now we can still see the foal he started as, even as we look towards the handsome colt he is becoming.
